This is a beautiful home however it had 1980s wallpaper in the kitchen and outdated popcorn texture throughout the home. Allan and his crew removed the wallpaper and sealed the old drywall using Roman RX-35 Primer Sealer to prevent the paper from forming bubbles. The next step was to apply a custom hand trowel texture to the kitchen walls and two coats of Sherwin-Williams Promar 200 Zero VOC Latex Paint. The color the customer chose was SW6106 Kilim Beige Flat.
As the wallpaper was being removed the crew was also removing the popcorn texture and repairing the drywall. Once the ceiling had been floated smooth a new orange peel texture was applied. To complete the project all of the trim and doors were painted using Sherwin-Williams ProClassic Oil Satin. The paint color was custom matched to the existing trim color and the ceiling painted the same color to coordinate with the trim and doors.
