Before We Paint the Interior

At ServiceFirst Painting we are concerned about the safety and protection of your family, pets and personal property. We have developed a Project Management Checklist to help you prepare for your upcoming project.

Interior Project Management Checklist

Color selection

Color selection, custom color matches, sheens and textures should be selected for each room the day before the project begins.

Disconnect electrical

Disconnect audio equipment, computers, electrical devices and other technology.

Remove breakables

Breakables such as china and figurines, personal belongings and other valuables should be boxed or placed in room where work is not being performed.

Clear the closets

If the scope of work includes painting closets be sure to have all items removed and stored in another location.

Empty the shelves

Kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, built-ins and bookshelves will need to be emptied prior to arrival is they are to be painted.

Take care of the pets

Pets should be placed outside, in an available room or kenneled for their safety and to maintain the quality of our workmanship.
